This year FLOWLab hosted its very first set of undergraduate exchange students - Guillermo Munoz Ovejero and Alvaro Carpio Chicote - who visited us from Madrid, Spain. They are working as undergraduate researchers on a design project to create a tilt control system to study the impact of gravity on blood flow and embolisms. This work was supervised by FLOWLab MS Thesis student Tom Puhr, will continue under the supervision of MS Thesis student Tandralee Chetia. As the Fall semester ended, Guillermo and Alvaro presented status update on their research project. And boy are we excited to see what they continue to do as they rejoin us in the Spring to complete their exchange program!
